“What comes to your mind when I say a human?”
I asked people around me to respond to the following question:
„Can you write me one association for the word HUMAN?“
In this post, I would like to create a kind of open archive, in which I will gradually enter the answers that will be shared with me. I will ask random people, among the small talks, I will ask strangers and acquaintances, the auditor in the tram or my own father, if I will ever see him again. Of course, the list cannot be complete in principle. The association leaves the answers free, without the right to explain or strive for the moral seriousness of the reaction. Maybe this list inspires you to work. Maybe your answer will change in time.

Note I started playing with it. On the second level, I was observing what my first association was like, to the answers I received. I add them to inner clicks, just for fun, from the infinity of a chain of free associations.

There is one poem of Lety Goldberg, also very famous remade into the music. It is from the 1940s. It ends for me with the strongest connection to the Hebrew: Echad headam, One of the people. I once translated the poem and never stopped thinking about it ………
Anna Luňáková (*1993)
Studied philosophy at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague, and currently is a PhD. student engaged in romance literature. So far, she has published two books, the novel Three (2020) and the collection of poems I just lose my name (2020). She also translates from French (Letter to D., 2021) and Portuguese. She creates authorial performances, i.e. Bohemia, performed in 2018 in Paris, Elevation 2018 in Casablanca, Přeslice 2019 in Setúbal or Odposlech 2020 in Malovice. The last mentioned, Odposlech, was created under the newly emerging collective HERONS VECTOR, of which she is a co-founder, together with Jakub Štourač and Ondřej Macl. She is also the co-founder of the open platform Nothing is a problem here, which organizes authorial readings, events and cabaret.
